Hosea 2-3 takes us deeper into God's pursuit of an unfaithful people. Through the prophet's own marriage to Gomer, God exposes the ways Israel has invited other gods into their lives, then woos them back with tender, steadfast love and buys them back at great cost. As we walk through these chapters, we are invited to ask what has competed with God in our own hearts, and to hear that even the valley of trouble can become a door of hope.
