Rev. Rick Stauffer
Senior Pastor
I grew up in North Pittsburgh, graduated from Geneva College, got my Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi and have served churches in the EPC since 1990.
I am married to my high school sweetheart Daneen, we have two grown and married children and five amazing grandchildren!
I love the church and serving my Lord through seeing the saints equipped for every good work while reaching the world right outside the doors of the church!

Rev. Matthew Geary
Assistant Pastor
I am a native of Maryland (just outside of DC), but love to travel. So I have spent time living in NYC; St. Louis; Greenville, SC; and now am proud to have Sharon, PA as my home. I graduated from Grove City College and later from Covenant Theological Seminary where I met my wife and best friend Bethany.
I enjoy many activities from frisbee to board games to movie watching, but my favorite is talking with people about who they are in Jesus and how God has called and equipped them to be a part of God's ongoing story of redemption.

Paige McBride
Director of Discipleship and Women's Ministry
I grew up in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and within the EPC church. I then went to college at Grove City College and graduated May 2021 with a double major in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministries!
I am now beginning seminary online with Reformed Theological Seminary, teaching dance classes locally, and working part-time at Covenant. In my free time, I hang out with high schoolers, my husband, my daughters, and friends as well as read, and dance.
I have a passion for teens, young adults, and women's' ministry. Academic biblical studies has been the fuel for that fire. It has equipped me and excited me to teach others how to read and apply the Scriptures thoughtfully. I am so thrilled to begin working at Covenant with our youth and women. It is an honor and I pray God will be greatly glorified in my work.

Penny Kraynak
Director of Music
Penny is passionate about helping people encounter God through meaningful, Christ-centered worship. With a heart for both musical excellence and spiritual authenticity, she leads and develops singers and musicians that support congregational singing and reflect the mission of the church.
Drawing on experience in vocal and instrumental leadership, planning worship services, and mentoring musicians, Penny believes worship is not a performance but a shared response to God’s grace. Her desire is to create musical experiences that coordinate with the message, Scripture-based, and accessible to all generations. Most evident of Penny's gifting is the annual Christmas Cantata. This musical worship experience blends over 100 singers and musicians from around the Shenango Valley.
