Sunday Morning Worship
Jul 26, 2026 • Rev. Rick Stauffer
We are glad you're here. This morning we continue our summer series through Proverbs 1–9, and we've reached the halfway point in the book. If you've been with us, you know Solomon's style by now. He circles back to the same core truth again and again, in different pictures and different words: avoid foolishness, seek wisdom.
Today in Proverbs 5, he brings us a warning wrapped in a striking image, something that looks beautiful and harmless on the outside but is deadly underneath. Solomon uses that picture to talk about sin: how it entices us, how we're called to run from it, and how we can find real joy in what God has already given us.
So grab your Bibles and turn to Proverbs 5, let's dive in.
