Sunday Morning Worship
Jun 7, 2026 • Rev. Rick Stauffer
This sermon begins the summer series and introduces the Book of Proverbs through the lens of Proverbs 1:1–7, arguing that life's hard questions find their best answers not in human philosophy or self-reliance but in Godly wisdom rooted in the fear of the Lord. Drawing on Solomon's story as author and king, it traces the source, substance, and "secret sauce" of wisdom, showing that Proverbs speaks to everyone from the naïve youth to the seasoned believer, equipping each with practical skills for living well in God's world, and ultimately pointing to Jesus Christ as the fullest expression of that wisdom.
