John 1:4-5 reveals that the Christmas story is not random, but God’s intentional rescue plan—the Grand Miracle. Jesus came bringing life and light, a spiritual light that shines into the deepest darkness and cannot be overcome. This miracle assures us that we need not fear, for God descends in love to save. Advent invites us to remember this truth, to treasure it as Mary did, and to live confident that the Light has come—and the darkness does not win.
