Sunday Morning Worship
Heaven is a place of indescribable beauty, perfect peace, and the full presence of God—far beyond anything our minds can imagine. Scripture teaches that we long for Heaven because it is our true home.
John 1:1–3 reveals that Jesus, the eternal Word, has always lived in the glory of Heaven. He is God in action—present at creation, fully divine, and eternally existent. The miracle of Christmas is that this same Jesus descended to earth without ceasing to be God. He took on flesh to be “God with us.”
C. S. Lewis and the great theologians remind us that Jesus stooped low in order to lift us up—bringing us back to God and setting us on a trajectory toward Heaven. This truth comforts us in loss, strengthens us in struggle, and fills Advent with hope. Through the Grand Miracle, Jesus invites us to trust Him, rest in Him, and live without fear—both in life and in death.
