Acts 15 shows the early church facing deep disagreement over whether salvation requires faith in Jesus alone or faith plus obedience to the Law. Through prayerful debate, testimony, and Scripture, the Jerusalem Council affirms that salvation comes by grace alone through Jesus Christ. While believers are called to live holy lives, nothing is to be added to Christ’s finished work. This passage reminds us that when the church clings to grace and seeks unity, even disagreement can advance the mission of God and make it easier—not harder—for people to turn to Him.
