Isaiah 44 reveals God’s “affirmation sandwich”—He begins by reminding Israel that they are chosen and formed by Him, confronts their foolish idolatry, and ends with a powerful promise of redemption. God exposes how easily we replace Him with lesser things, yet assures us that despite our wandering, He will not forget us. The chapter calls us to leave idols behind and return to the One who made us, loves us, and redeems us.
