Sunday Morning Worship
When Jesus stepped into Galilee and declared, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand" (Mark 1:15), He wasn't announcing something new — He was unveiling something eternal. The kingdom of God is not a distant destination we're waiting to arrive at; it is a present reality we are invited to enter, seek, and live from. We cannot earn our place — Scripture reminds us that all are confined under sin, and the promise comes only by faith in Christ (Galatians 3:22). And yet God is not far off. He is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18), His Spirit is poured out, the Helper teaches us all things (John 14:25), and His divine power has already given us everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3-4). So the question before us today is not whether the kingdom is available — it is. The question is whether we are truly living as citizens of it. Let's revisit the kingdom together.
