Mission Accomplished

Palm Sunday
Sunday, March 29th
10:30am
Palm Sunday marks the moment Jesus entered Jerusalem as a humble King to intentionally fulfill a divine rescue mission planned since the beginning of time. It serves as a bittersweet reminder of how easily the human heart shifts from worship to rejection, highlighting the necessity of Jesus’ journey to the cross to save a broken world.
For Covenant Church, Palm Sunday is celebrated with children singing, "Hosanna!" and waving palms.

Good Friday
Friday, April 3rd
7:00pm
Good Friday is the solemn day Jesus acted as a "divine substitute," voluntarily taking the punishment for human sin to satisfy God’s perfect justice. It is considered "good" because it marks the moment the debt of sin was paid in full, proving that God’s love is powerful enough to endure the cross to reconcile humanity to Himself.
This powerful service will be held in Lawrence Hall and will include Communion.

Easter
Sunday, April 5th
10:30am
Easter is the definitive "mission accomplished" of history, where Jesus’ physical resurrection proves he successfully conquered death and the power of sin. It is the ultimate confirmation that his claims were true and his sacrifice was accepted, offering a guaranteed hope that God is in the business of making all broken things new.

humble and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with his wounds we are healed.

or let your holy one see corruption
or let your holy one see corruption
